Lauren Becker, LICSW
Lauren is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has broad experience supporting families and individuals (youth and adults) in community, and educational settings. Lauren has an extensive background working with children, teens and adults who have autism, physical and developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges. Lauren’s therapeutic practices include: Strength Based, Family Systems Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Lauren’s approach to counseling is to create a collaborative relationship that provides compassion, support, transparency, and guidance. Lauren’s treatment style is interactive and individualized to meet specific needs. Lauren’s areas of counseling expertise include autism, anxiety, depression, developmental disabilities, trauma, TBI, and mood disorders. Lauren also has experience helping her clients navigate academic issues including IEP’s, behavior management plans, and social emotional needs.
Lauren received her BS in Human Services, with a minor in Psychology, from Endicott College and her masters in Social Work from University of New England. When Lauren is not working, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs, enjoying all the outdoor recreational opportunities our area has to offer.
