Lori received her Bachelor of Art in Sociology, with psychology minor, from Assumption College and her masters in Social Work from Boston University.

Lori has worked as a licensed social worker at the South Boston Collaborative Center for a number of years, providing individual, group, and family therapy services to a diverse population with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. Lori has worked in multiple schools throughout the city of Boston, working in public, charter, and private schools. Lori has received yoga training from Yoga Fit Alliance for adults and kids. A mindfulness informed treatment practice as well as family systems approach is a strong focus of her clinical work.

Lori's areas of expertise include substance related disorders and recovery-based treatment interventions. A wide range of special interests include the management of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and school-related concerns. Lori has experience navigating the school system and the process with Individual Education Plans and advocating for student support and services.
