Marina Furman, LMHC

Marina Furman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who is originally from Ukraine and is fluent in Russian and English.

 

She graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. She specializes in treating teens, young adults, couples and families struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image issues, trauma and family or relationship issues. Marina has over 10 years of experience working with the eating disorder population in all levels of care.

 

A collaborative and eclectic approach is used to accommodate the clients needs and treatment goals. Often implemented in therapy is a mix of  CBT, DBT, solution focused and family systems modalities. Marina is well versed in counseling, facilitating groups, collaborating with providers, navigating managed care, and identifying resources in the community.
