Robert Fanning

Education Advocate

Robert has recently retired from the field of special education after 45 years. During that time, he  fulfilled a variety of roles (para-professional, teacher, case manager, administrator, and special education director); chaired many TEAM meetings; coordinated evaluations; and supervised special educators in a variety of programs. He was employed in both private and public special education programs including the Cardinal Cushing School and Training Center, Quincy Public Schools, the Silver Lake Regional School District, and the Westwood Public Schools.

Robert is embarking on a new adventure as an advocate for children and families. He has always enjoyed working with families and believes that his expertise that will enable families to work collaboratively with special educators and to support their children.
