Originally from Nigeria, Tayo graduated with a B.A. in psychology from the University of New Haven. Tayo received an M.A. from William James College, where he is a fourth-year doctoral student pursuing a Psy.D in clinical psychology.

Tayo's area of focus is with members of the military, veterans, and their families, which includes children and adolescents.
