Allison holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Education from Endicott College, where she also minored in Psychology and Creative Art Therapy. She earned her Master’s in Education with a focus on Special Education and Moderate Disabilities in 2020 and completed her Master of Social Work at Simmons University in May of 2025, with a concentration in Clinical Social Work and School Social Work Licensure.

Allison has over five years of experience working with children and adolescents in both school and clinical settings. She has specialized in supporting students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs through her work in therapeutic day schools. She has led social-emotional learning groups, supported students with individualized education and mental health needs, and collaborated closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to provide trauma-informed, student-centered care.

She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), CANS, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), and has experience in crisis response and child protection through her clinical internship with the Massachusetts Child Abuse Emergency Line. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes relationship-building, creative expression, and evidence-based practices tailored to the individual needs of each client.

In her free time, Allison enjoys traveling, making art, and spending time with her dog.

Allison will be seeing patients under the supervision of Liz Anderson, LICSW.
